Topeka Hallmark equipment going up for auction

Equipment from the Topeka Hallmark plant will go up for auction in August as part of plans to close the facility.

Hallmark announced in October that it planned to consolidate its Kansas plants by moving work from the Topeka facility, 240 S.E. Madison, to its Lawrence facility. The Topeka plant is scheduled to close by the end of 2013.

About 300 items, described as mostly commercial printing, packaging, material handling and office equipment, will go up for sale at 11 p.m. Central time Aug. 11 on www.go-dove.com, according to a news release Tuesday from Liquidity Services Inc.
